These are just three ways that you can get some really great ideas. Ideas come from daydreaming, just thinking about things. Or ideas come from situations where you have inspiration from some event. And ideas simply come from observing the world around you. It could be a line in a movie, or something said on the radio, or your spouse says something that sparks an idea. Now that you have an idea, what do you do with it?

I do a process where I call in my muse and the writing guides and ancestors who come to support a particular book I am writing. I light a candle and ask that the book I write serve the highest good of all, that it serve love. I imagine a circle of love and light surrounding me as I write.

My purpose in editing is to make my article as clear and direct as possible. I try to deliver an undiluted message that no one can misunderstand. You have to learn not to be attached to certain phrases or words and get rid of ’em if need be. You have to be ruthless in your editing.

Take time following any saltwater diving, or swimming in a chlorinated pool to rinse off your watch with fresh water. Rotate the bezel also to flush out any salt and sand. Taking an extra couple seconds for rinsing will make a big difference in terms of longevity, same as it does for the rest of your dive gear.
